Accessibility Statement

Our commitment to equal access for all users.

Our Commitment to Accessibility

Z's Physical Therapy is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards.

Conformance Status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities. Conformance with these guidelines helps make the web more user friendly for everyone.

Measures Taken

Z's Physical Therapy takes the following measures to ensure accessibility:

  • Semantic HTML5: We use a logical heading structure, landmark regions, and semantic elements throughout the site.
  • Skip Navigation: A "Skip to main content" link is available at the top of every page for keyboard users.
  • Keyboard Navigation: All interactive elements (navigation, buttons, accordion menus) are fully operable using keyboard-only navigation (Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, Space, Arrow keys).
  • Visible Focus Indicators: Clear, visible focus outlines are displayed on all interactive elements when navigated via keyboard.
  • Color Contrast: Text color contrast ratios meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 AA minimums (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text and UI components).
  • Alternative Text: All images include descriptive alt attributes. Decorative images are marked aria-hidden="true".
  • ARIA Attributes: ARIA labels and roles are used where appropriate to support assistive technologies.
  • Responsive Design: The site is designed to be fully usable on mobile, tablet, and desktop screen sizes without requiring horizontal scrolling.
  • No Auto-Playing Media: No audio or video content auto-plays on this website.
  • Reduced Motion: Animations are subtle and do not include strobing effects. For visitors whose device is set to reduce motion, animations and smooth scrolling are switched off.
  • Logical Reading Order: Page content is structured so that it reads logically when CSS is disabled.

Known Limitations

  • Documents: If we add downloadable documents (forms, brochures), we will work to make them accessible and will provide the information another way on request.
