Direct Access to Physical Therapy — Financial Notice
In Michigan, you may seek physical therapy services without a physician referral (Michigan Public Act 260 of 2014 — Direct Access). However, many insurance plans still require a physician referral for coverage. If you choose to receive physical therapy without a referral, you may be personally responsible for the cost of your treatment. We strongly recommend verifying your insurance benefits before your first visit. Please contact our office and we will be happy to assist you in confirming your coverage.
